The statistical nomenclature is a descending or ascending order of numerical or alphabetic characters or their combination. These characters are assigned to a certain verbal description of phenomena or processes with basic common characteristics. Among the individual items of a nomenclature there is no hierarchy (in most cases).
The nomenclature is an arranged list of codes and meanings assigned to them. Nomenclatures are part of the statistical information system and are updated regularly.
Nomenclatures offered at this site are only in Czech version - you can find them at CISELNIKY.
